Fantastic family getaway with amazing staff
The staff was super helpful, especially the chef who totally went above and beyond to accommodate our daughter's food allergies. Loved the beach views and that they had kayaks available. Only tricky part was the dining options were sometimes busy, but the poolside snack bar was a lifesaver.

It was just a proper fit for a transient stop in Islamorada with good price value. My room was huge, with a fridge and microwave, which made things convenient. Look out for activities like biking and paddle boarding while you're there.

We had a lovely time enjoying the beautiful sunrises and lounging by the pretty pool. The pet-friendly vibe was great, and we also loved the access to kayaks for some fun on the water. A minor hiccup was that the bar only took card payments, but overall it was a fantastic stay! 🏖️

Our stay was enjoyable, especially the relaxed atmosphere around the pool and tiki bar. The staff was attentive and helpful, and we loved the beautiful property. Although there were some minor issues with the TV in the room, it didn’t overshadow the overall positive experience we had. Exploring local spots using the hotel shuttle was a nice perk too.

We had a great time on our group vacation! The pool area was awesome, and we loved hanging out at the Tiki Bar. We also enjoyed using the complimentary shuttle to explore local spots.
One negative note was the damaged closet door in our room, which was a bit disappointing but didn’t affect our overall experience.

The Queen Room with Two Queen Beds was cozy enough, but honestly, it felt a bit basic compared to what I expected. The beds were decent, and I had a nice view of the grounds, but the room itself wasn’t anything special. There was some noise from outside that interrupted my sleep, which was annoying. Could've used a little updating, too, as some fixtures felt a bit worn out. Overall, it served its purpose but could definitely use some improvements.

A poolside adventure turned rainy
After a chaotic check-in, we enjoyed the pool, despite the rain. Having dinner at the Tiki Hut indoors while watching the storm was surprisingly cozy.
Unfortunately, the initial check-in experience was overwhelming. The front desk struggled to locate one of our reservations, leading to unnecessary stress on our first night.

The stay at Amara Cay Resort felt refreshing. The grounds were well-kept, and the layout made it easy to access the beach and pool. The staff were friendly, especially at the Tiki Bar by the pool. I enjoyed the live music events and the atmosphere was relaxing. The ocean views from my room were stunning, adding to the overall charm of the place. The breakfast options at the restaurant were decent, but certainly not worth the prices charged. The check-in process could have been smoother. I waited a bit too long to get my room despite arriving on time. My room had some outdated features that detracted from the otherwise pleasant experience. I also encountered minor issues with housekeeping during my stay. While the rooms were clean, they could use some modernization to match the lovely overall aesthetic of the resort. The amenities offered, like bike and water sports rentals, were great, but availability should be improved. Despite these inconveniences, the beautiful pool and beach made up for a lot, creating a cozy retreat for relaxation. I'd likely return because of the location and service, but I hope to see some updates next time.

I had a lovely time and found the amenities to be enjoyable. The view of the ocean front was surprising every morning. My wife and I got married there, and it was a memorable experience for us.
I noticed some issues such as slow WiFi and a hotel room door that required a strong push to close, which disrupted the experience a bit.
